A Little Bit About ByteBudget
Who Are We?
We are an IT services company that was founded in Ohio back in 2022. From break / fix services to infrastructure management, we offer a wide range of services to local businesses to reduce IT headaches and streamline IT operations. We specialize in open source and vendor-agnostic solutions, and design solutions with redundancy, high availability, security, and interoperability in mind.
Where We Started
Jerimiah Mayle founded ByteBudget in 2022, a year after completing his CompTIA A+ certification at the Coshocton County Career Center. After passing the certification, Jerimiah would take the next year to learn more about computers, networking, servers, and providing various other services to people and businesses.
Once Jerimiah felt comfortable and confident in his skills and knowledge, he created ByteBudget LLC, a computer repair and IT services company. Although the company would remain dormant for the first year, Jerimiah would eventually obtain his Ohio business license and begin providing IT support and services to a few local businesses in his hometown of Coshocton.
Where We Are Now
In late 2025, Jerimiah would go to Utah for about two months. During his visit, he became very comfortable with the Salt Lake area. From the mountains and nature, to the ease of travel around the city, Jerimiah decided he found his new home. In January of 2026, Jerimiah would return to Salt Lake and eventually declare permanent residency there.
Jerimiah plans to continue operations in Ohio, providing the same service he did before his move. Although onboarding of new clients has been suspended until further notice.
With previous experience in starting and operating a business in Ohio, Jerimiah did not hesitate to start ByteBudget in Utah. With his knowledge and experience in both business operations and IT operations, he hopes to provide exceptional services to the businesses of Salt Lake City and the wider Salt Lake area; all while maintaining his existing Ohio business clients.

We want to see a future where high quality IT services are prioritized over short-term profit. We also want to see less ‘bad apples’ in the IT industry which have given MSPs and IT companies a bad reputation
